Tyler Nowell Felix was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He first discovered his love of acting at the tender age of four years old, at The Anthony Bean Community Theatre and Acting School, in a small role in the production of "Saving Our Selves." Tyler spent most of his childhood alternating his time between acting, church and travel football, all while running and flipping through the halls of the local community theater.
One day Visa came to the theater looking to cast kids playing football. To the amusement of the casting directors, they booked Tyler based on his charisma and energy alone. Tyler kept that same energy and charisma with him throughout his performances going forward. It was that energy that helped him land the role of Young Mike Tyson, in Los Angeles, California at the age of 13. Doing his time in Los Angeles, Tyler also booked smaller roles in TV and film productions such as "Modern Family," "The Soul of The Suit" and Nickelodeon's "Massively Mixed-up Mystery." Tyler spent four years in Los Angeles before moving back to New Orleans for training at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, one of the country’s top performing arts conservatories for high schoolers. After high school he committed to UNCSA.
During his training at UNCSA, Tyler has also found the time to become a published recording artist as Tyler Nowell; his music can be found on all streaming platforms. Tyler is very excited and very ready to join the entertainment Industry and continue to learn and grow as a person.
