Nic Brown (he/him) was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Before pursuing a B.F.A. in Drama at UNCSA, Nic grew up singing in the church, competed at a high level in Men’s Gymnastics and played the flute in concert band. He also was a member of the Teen Theater Ensemble with the NC Black Rep. Theater Company, and was blessed to perform in two plays with them at the National Black Theater Festival.
While at UNCSA, Nic has played Snug the Joiner/Lion in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” Rooftop in “Our Lady of 121st” and Asher in “Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner.” Nic played a principal role in the SAG independent film, "Where’s Rose," which is premiering at Raindance Film Festival this fall. Recently, Nic released a song called “I Just Wanna Live'' on multiple streaming platforms. The song is inspired by the Black Lives Matter Movement.
Outside of acting, Nic has a true passion for Krispy Kreme and loves spending lots of time with family and friends, especially his niece Gracie.
