1 Unrestricted Elective Credits may be fulfilled at any time during the four years of the program using any course offered on the UNCSA campus. Courses offered by an Art School other than Music must receive approval of both the Dean of the School of Music (or designee) and the Dean (or designee) of the Art School offering the course.
2 All music students must perform in ensembles as assigned, even beyond the minimum. MUS 5110, MUS 5120, MUS 5130, and MUS 5140 may be used to fulfill the Large Ensemble requirement. Large Ensemble assignments are made by the ensemble directors in consultation with the major teacher; Chamber Ensemble assignments are approved by the major teacher.
