1 Unrestricted Elective Credits may be fulfilled at any time during the four years of the program using any course offered on the UNCSA campus. Courses offered by an Art School other than Music must receive approval of both the Dean of the School of Music (or designee) and the Dean (or designee) of the Art School offering the course.
2 In consultation with the Percussion Faculty Advisor, a student chooses a percussion internship from the following: MUS 2861: Composition and Coaching in the Marching Arts; MUS 2862: Fundamentals of Music Education and Outreach in Public Schools; MUS 2863: Fundamentals of Dance Accompanying; MUS 2864: Fundamentals of Interactive Community Drumming.
