1 Yr Two generalists must take the following in the Fall: Intensive Arts, Classics of World Cinema, Interdisciplinary Visual Storytelling I, plus two “workshop” courses (one course each in your 1st and 2nd choice concentrations (Cinematography, Directing, Editing, Producing, or Screenwriting). In the Spring, you must take one 3-credit Cinema Studies class, Interdisciplinary Visual Storytelling II, and again two workshops in your 1st and 2nd choice concentrations. Strongly recommended: 2 Liberal Arts classes each semester in order to be on track towards degree.
2 All Cinematography students must complete a minimum of 10 credit hours of arts elective coursework as part of the required 87 Filmmaking credit hours towards this degree. We recommend that you select these electives in consultation with your film advisor/mentor.
