UNCSA has announced nine recipients of the State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) Public Fellows Internship Program, supported by the SECU Foundation. All interns were selected through a competitive interview process and will receive up to $5,000 each to help offset expenses during the internship.

Drama faculty member Carl Forsman is launching the Piedmont Shakespeare Company with a free production of "Hamlet" across the Triad. A lifelong theater artist, Forsman aims to make complex, meaningful art accessible, inviting all to engage with Shakespeare's timeless poetry and ideas.

The Hollywood Reporter has ranked the School of Drama No. 3 on its list of "The 25 Best Drama Schools in the World" for the third year in a row. UNCSA is second among B.F.A. programs included on the 2025 list; the school has appeared annually in the publication's rankings since 2012.
