Animation Summer Intensive

In the Animation Summer Intensive, run by the UNCSA School of Filmmaking, you will immerse yourself in a demanding and stimulating program designed to unlock your artistic abilities and provide you with the skills and tools needed to become an animator.

Two sections of the Animation Summer Intensive will be offered in 2024:

• Session 1 (June 23  - July 6): Introductory - designed for beginning animators
• Session 2 (July 7 - 20): Introductory and Advanced - This is the only session for advanced or returning students. Beginners may also attend this session.
• Students may combine sessions 1 and 2 for a 4-week experience!

This program is open to rising high school freshmen through incoming college freshmen and will introduce first-time students to the fundamentals of animation and returning students to more advanced studies in the field.
