Shuttles to and from Piedmont Triad International (PTI) Airport
The Office of Student Transportation provides an airport shuttle for UNCSA students to Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, N.C. (airport code GSO) at the beginning and end of Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break and Spring Break at no additional charge to students. The Office of Student Transportation does not provide airport shuttles at the beginning (August) or end (May) of the academic year.

Fall Break

- Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Shuttle schedule changes will be announced via My SA, the central location for campus communication. Email transportation@uncsa.edu for questions regarding these shuttles. Private shuttles are not available during the scheduled airport shuttle times.
Regular Weekly Bus Shuttles to Shopping Areas
UNCSA offers free regular weekly trips to such local points of interest as Hanes Mall, Shopping Centers with Wal-Mart, Target, Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Wynnsong Cinemas and more. The bus leave Alex Ewing Performance Place Circle at Watson Hall. There are charges for missing the bus to return to campus.

If you are not at the designated point when the bus is scheduled to leave, you will have to call a cab and pay for your own ride back to campus. Return times may be adjusted to accommodate other transportation. Passengers will be consulted and informed as needed. There may be times regular trips are canceled with minimal notice. Private Shuttles
Note: Private shuttles are unavailable days around the school breaks. Students can use the free scheduled all-campus PTI airport shuttle runs.
Private shuttles to PTI airport ONLY are available through Student Transportation Office between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a fee for this service with payment being due two weeks in advance of the requested private shuttle run.
Reservations should be made two weeks in advance of the service needed. To make a reservation, contact the Student Transportation Office at 336-770-1476 or email transportation@uncsa.edu. If you are contacting Student Transportation Office via voice mail or email, please be sure to clearly leave your full name and a phone number where you can be reached.
Other Scheduled Student Bus Transportation
Occasional transportation is provided to community events such as street concerts, and performances at Salem College, Winston-Salem State University, and Wake Forest University; and to non-school shows for which tickets are available to students through the UNCSA.
Every first Friday of the month. Student Transportation provides a bus to Winston-Salem downtown Gallery Hop. Bus leaves Alex Ewing Performance Place Circle (PPC) at Watson Hall at 7 p.m. and will leave the Millennium Center from Downtown at 10 p.m. to return to campus.
Stevens Center Events. Free transportation is offered to all school events at the Stevens Center. The bus leaves Performance Place Circle 30 minutes prior to the performance time.
