Career Services provides assistance to UNCSA students by offering a variety of career planning resources. It is designed to work hand-in-hand with the arts schools in supplementing career preparation training for students. Career Services combines its resources with those of the faculty, guest artists, and alumni to prepare students for a successful transition from school to careers as professional artists.
Outreach raises awareness about UNCSA through touring and performance opportunities by students, faculty and alumni of the School. In addition to public performances, students visit classrooms, hospitals, retirement communities and private parties.
The office also serves as the School’s Entertainment Bureau or gig office, (also known as the “Applause Office”), which provides students and alumni with career-related employment opportunities.
