SPA Staff Council
The purpose of the Staff Council shall be to provide representation of the staff and to have a voice in decision-making on matters that concern NCSA.
SPA staff employees recognize their increasing role of providing professional support to the university. The Staff Council shall continually seek new opportunities for staff to offer their services and experience to NCSA, while also ensuring that SPA staff employees work in a positive, respectful atmosphere with opportunities for their own professional and personal growth.
Membership to the Staff Council is open to all North Carolina School of the Arts permanent SPA staff employees by being elected to serve as a representative. Representatives are elected for one term (two years). Representatives are responsible for attending each monthly meeting or contacting their alternate in the event they are unable to attend. Representatives are expected to provide liaison between the staff they represent and the council.
