UNCSA, Working Theater and the Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts have announced a new partnership launching with a fellowship program supporting the development of Working Theater's "La Dureza" project, a powerful exploration of the lives and struggles of delivery workers in New York City.
UNCSA is releasing the second album on its newly formed label, UNCSA Media, with Cashavelly's "Meditation Through Gunfire," Oct. 18. The first single, "Rewrite," is available now on all major music streaming platforms; "More than God" will be available for presave on Aug. 30 and released Sept. 12.
UNCSA has announced the establishment of the Hector Manuel Lopez, Jr. Memorial Scholarship, to honor a beloved Dining Services staff member who passed away on June 12. Established by longtime UNCSA supporters Bill and Judy Watson, the scholarship is named in the memory of Lopez and reflects the joy and interest Lopez had in supporting the academic, personal and creative success of UNCSA student artists.
