Tickets for the UNCSA 60th anniversary production of "The Nutcracker," presented by Flow Automotive, go on sale to the public on Friday, July 25 10 a.m. The beloved holiday ballet will return to the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts in Greensboro for five performances, Dec. 5-7, while the Stevens Center in Winston-Salem continues its comprehensive renovation.

A student from the School of Music at UNCSA won first place and the Audience Choice Award at the annual Rosen-Schaffel Competition for Young and Emerging Artists, held Sunday, June 29, at Appalachian State University. UNCSA students and alumni having placed in the annual competition for 12 of its 14 years.

UNCSA has announced nine recipients of the State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) Public Fellows Internship Program, supported by the SECU Foundation. All interns were selected through a competitive interview process and will receive up to $5,000 each to help offset expenses during the internship.
