UNCSA to donate performance proceeds to Hurricane Helene relief in western North Carolina

UNCSA has announced that it will donate 100% of proceeds from ticket sales for performances from Sept. 26 through Oct. 31 to the Piedmont Triad Chapter of the American Red Cross in support of relief efforts following the effects of Hurricane Helene on western North Carolina.

UNCSA to host screening of 'Desperately Seeking Susan' and conversation with Director Susan Seidelman on Sept. 27

The UNCSA School of Filmmaking will continue its Symposium guest artist series with an evening featuring film director, producer and writer Susan Seidelman. The free event, which is open to the public, includes a screening of Seidelman's cult classic "Desperately Seeking Susan," followed by a conversation about her new memoir moderated by Filmmaking faculty member Michael Miller.
